Teacher’s Experience

The root word of education derives from the word “Educere” which means to lead out or to bring out.

At OPEX Park, we train our teachers in our DREAMS model. Our framework is an innovative evolution of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) model. Our innovative framework consists of Design, Robotics, Engineering, Math, and Science (DREAMS). We developed our DREAMS model because we understand that children learn through meaningful, hands-on experiences and has their own unique learning style. DREAMS embraces the four core types of learning styles, visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic learning. We promote and build creative thinking, curated experiences, hands-on opportunities, while reinforcing core skills in a dynamic and fun camp-like environment.

Our program is designed to provide experiences through activities that will correspond to the classroom. Programming operates on a bi-weekly schedule. Teachers will work with each grade of the school taking on one (45-60 min) period each week for every class. Teachers will also use the student's recreation and social periods for constructive social programming.

OPEX Park teaches educators social learning and self-development techniques to provide innovative DREAMS programming not only during the school year, but extending out-of-school programs into a year-long continuous learning experience!

We provide educators with the tools to empower kids to achieve their dreams, shaping curious minds driven to question, play, experiment, and invent!

OUR 1 WEEK TRAINING PROGRAM PROVIDES TEACHERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRANSFORM THEIR CURRICULUM AND CLASSROOM INTO AN EXPERIENCE BASED LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. OUR INNOVATIVE TWIST ON PROJECT BASED LEARNING, ALLOW TEACHERS TO USE OUR DREAMS METHOD TO INTEGRATE DESIGN, ROBOTICS, ENGINEER, ARTS & ADVENTURE, MATH AND SCIENCE INTO THEIR DAILY LESSONS. PICTURED IS MR. MORA WHO IS TEACHING HIS STUDENTS GEOMETRIC SHAPES THROUGH AERSOL ART. MR. MORA HAS TAKEN HIS CURRICULUM AND HIS EXPERIENCE IN AERSOL ART TO TEACH THE MATHEMATICAL, DESIGN AND ART VALUE OF THE LESSON. STUDENTS WERE ABLE TO HAVE A HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE USING SPRAY PAINT TO LEARN THE POSITIVES OF AERSOL ART AND THE VALUE OF THEIR ACADEMICS.
